Founded in 2010 by Martin Gateley, Sound Kaos designs and builds exquisite, high-end loudspeakers to last a lifetime.

Our speakers are bespoke, handcrafted in Switzerland and made from premium sustainable materials. We are unapologetic audiophiles who love music and the emotions it stirs. Our mission is simple – ensure the ultimate listening experience for passionate music lovers.

Working with the most skilled engineers and artisans, every aspect of the experience is the culmination of hours and hours of passion and hard work, with the singular goal of touching the listener’s emotions. The company’s name reflects a desire to make gorgeous natural sounds from the chaos of the world around us. We don’t see a product – we see an artform.

Our unique work is designed to be new yet timeless, with nods to classic silhouettes and neo-futurist elements. Above all, it provides a peerless audio experience that cannot be found anywhere else.

FOUNDER

Founder Martin Gateley’s passion for music came from his father, who loved classical music. He grew up in an environment where he was continuously immersed in sound. Along the way, he developed a fascination at an early age with loudspeakers and the technology behind their construction. He started building speakers at home, and what began as a hobby became a lifelong passion. The end result – Sound Kaos.

Martin is a music-lover and designer who believes sound quality and aesthetics are inseparable. And so do we.

As he puts it: “For me, when listening to music, it’s not just about the music itself but also the surroundings that amplify the sound around me.”
