Antipodes Audio Limited started in High-End Audio in 2004, making audio cables, using our own proprietary gold and silver wire, in pure unbleached cotton insulation, with unique geometries.
Today, Antipodes Audio designs and markets music servers for High-End Audio markets worldwide. The aim of our business is to provide audiophiles with audio products that deliver world-leading sound quality, build quality and user support.
A music server is a specialist computer (for some of our products, it involves two or more computing devices that work together in tandem), that takes digital audio files and digital audio streams, provides a value-adding presentation layer to users for discovering and selecting music to play, and delivers a near-perfect square-wave representation of the music to the user’s DAC (digital to audio convertor).
Antipodes music servers are sold through specialist distributor and dealer channels in 20 countries around the world, principally in Europe and North America.
Parts are manufactured to our specification and/or design by our supply partners, and Antipodes assembles and tests all products in our factory in Otaki. Assembly is completed in modern, premium office-grade premises, for a clean, healthy and pleasant work environment.
The emphasis of this operation is on achieving the highest possible level of product quality.

Antipodes S20
Re-clocker
DESCRIPTION
The small form factor Antipodes S20 is a new re-clocker that can be added to any Antipodes music server that has a USB Audio output. The Antipodes S20’s re-clocking engine provides galvanic isolation from the incoming USB signal, employs a high quality and excellent sounding femto-second clock to re-clock the digital signal, and offers S/PDIF, AES3 and I2S synchronous outputs to feed your DAC.
The Antipodes S20 is powered by a standard external brick power supply, but the power is cascaded through an internal HSL50 regulator to provide clean power to the re-clocker. The performance can be upgraded further by powering it externally with an Antipodes S60 power supply.
The S20 provides a better re-clocking stage to convert an asynchronous USB signal to a synchronous digital signal (S/PDIF, AES3 or I2S) than you will find in all but cost-no-object DACs. In most systems the S20 offers a dramatic improvement in sound quality over feeding your DAC with USB.
